US Supports Terrorists to Maintain Israel’s Superiority

Hujjat al-Islam Sa’idi has said that the United States’ strategy in the Middle East is through launching proxy wars and supporting Takfiri groups, such as ISIL, to maintain the superiority of the Zionist regime and to pressure Iran.

“Imam Khomeini considered [the capture of the Den of Spies] move as a second revolution,” Qom’s Friday prayers leader said adding that “these three events provide common ground in the fight against the global arrogance, which is led by the criminal United States and these three anniversaries must be maintained by all Iranians.”

He made the remarks during his Friday prayer sermon delivered to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Qom’s Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah.

The Iranian scholar stressed that the anti-arrogant spirit of the Iranian nation Iranian must reach the ears of all the people of the world so that they realize that the discourse of the Islamic Revolution is still alive as is the hatred of the US.

He explained that the enemies seek to invalidate Iran’s policies and diplomacy, by claiming that Iran supports terrorism, abuses human rights and is undemocratic. These are “tricks” because for Iran, politics and diplomacy are inseparable and intertwined with our religion and beliefs.

His Eminence said that the US has not been able to resolve the many problems and crises in the Middle East, including in Yemen, Iraq and Syria and that their strategy in the region is through launching proxy wars and supporting Takfiri groups, such as ISIL.

He stressed that these are attempts at changing the political geography of the region and dividing nations by fomenting ethnic and religious conflicts to create a new form of polarity in the Middle East which maintains the superiority of the Zionist regime and puts pressure on the independent states of the region, such as the Islamic Republic of Iran, in order to change their behaviour and structure.

The revered Iranian scholar added that Iran’s strategy to maintain and enhance its deterrence against the enemies and this has been exemplified by the recent announcement of the successful test-firing of the country’s new precision-guided long-range ballistic missile “Emad.”

Hujjat al-Islam Sa’idi said that for Iran, internal unity and solidarity against the imperialist powers is very important, adding that some think that unity means offering concessions to the US but “this is the interpretation of the enemy, another one of Iran’s strategies is to create a new regional order focusing on the Islamic Resistance and pure Muhammadan Islam.”

He added that Iran seeks to accelerate the deterioration and destruction of the Zionist regime and prevent the presence and influence of the US in Iran and in the region and maintain its dignity, wisdom and expediency.

Qom’s Friday prayer leader stated that the US does not seek any goodwill for Islam or for the Islamic ummah, and does not want Iran to progress, have dignity, economic and intellectual independence or practice Islamic values.

Al Khalifa regime denied most basic human rights: Sheikh Salman

Jailed Bahraini Shia cleric Sheikh Ali Salman has censured Manama’s heavy-handed crackdown on dissent, saying the Al Khalifa regime is trampling on the most basic human rights and freedoms in the Persian Gulf state.

In a Twitter message addressed to an annual security conference underway in the Bahraini capital (known as the Manama Dialogue), Salman urged the participants in the forum to have in mind the fact that people in his country are stripped of fundamental human rights – particularly freedom of expression – by Al Khalifa rulers.

The two-day event, which opened earlier on Saturday, is focused on regional security challenges.

alman further said that a great proportion of the Bahraini population has paid dearly in pursuit of demands for the establishment of democracy and respect for human rights in Bahrain.

Thousands of dissidents are currently being held in Bahrain jails, while hundreds of people have been forced out of their jobs since an uprising began against the Al Khalifa rule in 2011, said the 50-year-old Shia figure.

The imprisoned opposition leader also urged participants in the Manama conference to help create an atmosphere of serious dialog between the Al Khalifa regime and the opposition.

Salman was detained on December 28, 2014 on charges of attempting to overthrow the ruling Al Khalifa dynasty and collaboration with foreign powers. He has strongly denied the charges, emphasizing that he has been seeking reforms in Bahrain through peaceful means.

On June 16, a Bahraini court sentenced Salman to four years in prison on charges such as insulting the Bahraini Interior Ministry and inciting others to break the law. He was acquitted of seeking regime change.

Saudis Still Not Cooperating with Iran on Mina Tragedy

Iranian Vice President for Legal Affairs Elham Aminzadeh strongly criticized the Riyadh government’s lack of cooperation with Tehran on probing the death of the country’s pilgrims during the Hajj rituals in Mina, near Mecca, on September 24.

“The Saudi officials are still not cooperating with Iran on the Hajj tragedy,” Aminzadeh said on Saturday.

She called on the Saudi government to cooperate with Iran, and said, “We cannot achieve our objectives in this regard as long as Saudi Arabia does not cooperate with Iran because we have to gather the evidence from Saudi Arabia.”

Aminzadeh said that the Iranian Fact-Finding Committee is seriously following up the death of the Iranian Hajj pilgrims, and will try legal channels to restore the rights of the victims.

In Late September, Aminzadeh blamed Saudi Arabia for mismanaging the Hajj ceremony which led to the tragic incident of stampede in Mina, and called on the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to find a way to protect the pilgrims.

“As the Supreme Leader has stated, the Saudi government is required to shoulder its heavy responsibility for this bitter incident and meet its obligations in compliance with the rule of righteousness and fairness,” Aminzadeh said at the time.

On Monday, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian expressed regret over the Saudi officials’ negligence about presenting a reliable report on the causes of the Mina stampede, and said Tehran will pursue the death of its nationals in the Mina incident through legal channels.

Supreme Leader’s points of JCPOA sign of intelligence

Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani stated that Ayatollah Khamenei’s nine-point requirements for the implementation of the JCPOA are a sign of intelligence and complete defeats the enemies’ plots.

Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani quoted Imam Khomeini as saying that “our policies are the essence of our religion.”

His Eminence pointed out that the main duty of Iran is to build the peoples’ intelligence and increase their insight. He added that Islamic policies are twofold: The first aspect is to separate evil policies from Islamic policies and the second is to be aware of other important aspects of the evil ways of the enemies before they are manifested.

Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani made the remarks during a meeting with Brigadier-General Gholam-Reza Jalali, the head of Iran’s Civil Defense Organization, and his accompanying delegation.

“We must prepare ourselves against them so that all segments of our society, even those in the most remote parts of the country, should be aware of the policies of the US, Zionists and Saudis,” he stressed.

He added that recognition of one’s enemies is a direct command of God in the Quran, adding that Iran’s greatest enemies are the United States and Israel, and added: “In three places in the Holy Quran, God calls upon the believers to prepare themselves to protect against sedition and emphasizes the importance of jihad in the way of God. When the Prophet David killed the tyrannous warrior, Goliath, God granted him wisdom, respect and knowledge. Thus, we should not refrain from jihad and stand on our feet [and resist].”

The Iranian scholar stated the intelligence and awakening of the Iranian nation depends on the peoples’ obedience and compliance to the orders of the Supreme Leader, saying: By the kindness and grace of God, we have a powerful military and its leader is an intelligent, knowledgeable and informed person and if we always obey his commands, our system will be strong and stable.”

Grand Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani also noted that through Imam Ali’s Nahj al-Balaghah (The Peak of Eloquence), which the late founder of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, Imam Sayyed Ruhollah Khomeini said includes the greatest discussions on governmental and cultural issues, the people can become familiar with the Islamic policies.

The renowned source of emulation said at during the caliphate of Imam Ali, some thought that Mu’awiyah was a better politician than Imam Ali but the Imam said that this is because Mu’awiyah ruled through policies of deception and treachery which are forbidden in Islamic law, and that he was aware of Mu’awiyah’s plans.

“Iran’s rulers have always been intelligent, knowledgeable and insightful and aware of the deception of its enemies,” he said.
